Welcome,
I was born and raised in northern Indiana the middle of
three boys, My Dad was a mechanic so I grew up around cars and have been
to many schools and had many years experience working on vehicles.
When I was in High school back many years ago, I fell in love with the
'68-'70 Dodge charger body style and I knew their drive train was built
tough because my dad had a 1976 D250 pickup, that survived through three
teenage boys, which as we all know are gentle on vehicles. Shortly
after High school I did some trading and ended up with a 1969 Dodge
Charger with a 383 High Performance motor & a 727 torque flight with a
consol shift tranny. I owned and drove that care till I had
to sell it due to a divorce back around 1993. Seven years later I
finally got the opportunity to pick up a 1974 Dodge Charger SE for $750.
I drove the car home and then drove it to work every day for the first
three years. I still own the car today, and am working on fixing it up,
I'm almost done with the engine and then I can get started on the body.
